Super Bowl XLVII is here! Big Storylines: The final game in Ray Lewis’ illustrious Hall of Fame career, the young mobile 49ers quarterback, Colin Kaepernick versus the underrated Ravens’ Joe Flacco, two dominant defenses in a high scoring league. But for many casual fans, the Super Bowl commercials leave some of the biggest memories that will have us talking Monday morning. Check out an early preview of some of my favorites. There is a Volkswagon ad featuring a white Minnesota guy talking in a Jamaican accent, it’s gotten a lot of press for possibly being racist. I didn’t feel it was as memorable as these selections:
One of my early favorites, “Come back when you have a team”.
Kaley Cuoco (Penny on Big Bang Theory) stars as a sexy genie granting wishes in two Toyota commercials.
They’re calling this commercial “Soul”. Willem Defoe is offering a “special deal” on the new Fiat. Check out Usher, Kate Upton, and the Rolling Stones “Sympathy For The Devil”
Dad offers his son the keys to Audi to take to prom. Check out what a new car does to your confidence!
Too Hot for the Super Bowl! The network has banned this Kate Upton commercial but here was the original version.
“Viva Young” : They’re going with a string of commercials pushing the You Only Live Once theme.
You’ve got to have at least one commercial with things blowing up.
