One of the summer’s hottest tours is the pairing of two of alt-rock’s critic’s favorites, 90’s icons Weezer and Panic! At The Disco. Currently 41 dates are on the agenda kicking off on June 10th at The Woodlands in Texas and ending in Irvine, California on August 6th. Both groups will be co-headlining and promoting their latest albums. Weezer’s self-titled CD will drop in April, Rivers Cuomo is calling it their “beach album”. Weezer has teased us with early release singles “Thank God For Girls” and “Do You Wanna Get High.” Panic! At The Disco have once again changed their style for their latest, incorporating hip hop elements into their theatrical pop/rock sound. Death Of A Bachelor already came out in January this year. Big props go out to Panic! for earlier this year donating all proceeds from their merchandise sales to a cancer research group in dedication to David Bowie.

But get to the shows early as Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness will be supporting the tour as the opening act. Coming off his #1 smash “Cecilia And The Satellite”, Andrew’s latest single “High Dive” is taking over the Modern Rock charts since the music video dropped this year.
