Eddie Vedder Duet Collection

EDDIE VEDDER WITH TOM PETTY – “THE WAITING”

“Oh baby don’t it feel like heaven tonight, don’t if feel like something from a dream” – Could those lyrics be anymore apropos then on this incredible night. Originally I posted a bootleg video clip from Amsterdam but the YouTube police shut it down. During that Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers show, Eddie Vedder comes out and performs “The Waiting” with the band at the Heineken Music Hall. There wasn’t even a need for a big introduction, Eddie shows up in his traditional flannel shirt, Tom has a drink from his beer, and they jam out to the 80’s Petty classic. After Eddie sings the first bridge, Tom (on lead guitar) changes up the first guitar solo and then joins Eddie on vocals. Thankfully Eddie and Tom performed it together again in Washington and YouTube has left it alone!

“DON’T DREAM IT’S OVER” EDDIE VEDDER WITH CHRIS MARTIN

Just two guys jamming together, one on the piano and one grabs his guitar. At the 2016 Global Citizen Festival in NYC, two of the most famous frontmen in the world join forces for a duet of a 80s pop favorite by The Cutting Crew. It’s a stark performance that really draws you in even if their vocals don’t totally sound on point that evening.

“I’M ONE” EDDIE VEDDER with THE WHO

Eddie Vedder and Pete Townshend have shared the stage on multiple occasions including a rare performance on The Late Show with David Letterman where Eddie is sporting bleached blonde hair. This clip of “I’m The One” comes from The Who’s charity concert at the Royal Albert Hall benefited the Teenage Cancer Fund. The song comes from The Who’s legendary Quadrophenia LP.
