Elton John Bucket List Concert: USF Sun Dome Friday Night

Everyone has music artists on their “bucket list”.     Mine include(d):     Michael Jackson (never happened), The Rolling Stones (check), Ozzy Osbourne (still hoping), Springsteen (many times), and Elton John (fulfilled last night in Tampa!!) Who are some artists you HAVE to see in your lifetime?

Graduating from the University of South Florida, I have been to their arena, The Sun Dome, many times through the years. The dated venue was due for renovations.  USF responded with $36 million dollars being pumped into the updates!    VIP suites, cushy seats, a blinged out scoreboard, the new Sun Dome will be a major draw in the future for the Tampa area.

Who better to open the renovated arena than one of the greatest entertainers of the past 50 years, Sir Elton John.    Check out the retrospective setlist for his incredible greatest hits concert:    Here are six of my favorites that span Elton’s illustrious career. Check out previous blogs for “Your Song”, “Someone Saved My Life”, “The Last Song”, even his newest with P’Nau.

“DANIEL”

“PHILADELPHIA FREEDOM”

“SORRY SEEMS TO BE THE HARDEST WORD” (With BLUE)

“DON’T GO BREAKING MY HEART”

“CIRCLE OF LIFE”

“I’M STILL STANDING”
