“SOMEONE LIKE YOU” ADELE
An epic tearjerker ballad featuring Adele accompanied by a piano. The lyrics are a reminder of a love lost. Adele ended a relationship and shortly afterward, her boyfriend was engaged to someone else. Her feelings were hurt, despite bitter regrets, Adele looked back on the relationship and cherished the two years they shared together. The song could be devastating and depressing, but rather than let her get her down, Adele recorded this intense song to free her mind and move on. Music is the best therapy! It became the #1 selling song of 2011.
“DIFFERENT DEVIL” CHICKENFOOT
For Chickenfoot’s single, “Different Devil”, Sammy Hagar went back to his “Red Rocker” ways. The radio-friendly track is strengthen by Joe Satriani’s guitar solo that (for once) isn’t over-powering or indulgent. You can even hear a classic 80’s rock groove to it. Just a fun, roll down the windows and let it blast kind of song! Chickenfoot’s 2nd CD was titled “Chickenfoot III” and was released in September 2011. Why didn’t they call it #2? Many bands go through the sophomore slump so Chickenfoot decided to “skip” that record!
“I DON’T WANT THIS NIGHT TO END” LUKE BRYAN
Totally SEXY song! The excitement of a wild first night together, passion’s running high, so distracted, you don’t want the night to end. When Luke wrote the record, he wanted a “throw your hands in the air” concert favorite to add to the Tailgates and Tanlines CD. The video features actress, Cameron Richardson, and will be followed up with a prequel video for Luke’s next single, “Drunk On You”.
And I don’t know what road we’re on
Or where we’ve been
From staring at you girl
All I know is I don’t want this night to end
Gonna cuss the morning when it comes
Cause I know that the rising sun
Ain’t no good for me
Cause you’ll have to leave
