Under The Radar Songs: Keyshia Cole, Jochen Miller, LeToya

The Princess of Hip Hop Soul wrote some of the best R&B breakup songs of the past decade.   “I Should Have Cheated”, “You’ve Changed”, and “Should Have Let You Go” are a triple play of songs to take charge of your life and move on from a failed relationship.   Keyshia pours her heart into her music and sings about her personal emotions that really resonates with her fans.    Keyshia has since married Daniel Gibson, shooting guard for the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers.   She has a beautiful baby and life is happier now.   So fittingly, her music reflects this new attitude.  “Take Me Away” was chosen by her fans on Twitter as a single.   It’s a beautiful song with a perfect happy summer vibe.

A trance DJ from the Netherlands who has been working closely with super DJ, Armin Van Buuren for the past few years.  On Armin’s Sirius radio show, “A State Of Sundays”, Jochen’s show “Stay Connected” is a featured element.  Get past the initial vocals and give this song more than 15 seconds, it really jumps into hyperdrive.    Enjoy your Saturday, drive safe!

Letoya Luckett may look familiar, she was one of the original members of Destiny’s Child.   She was the lead in the movie, Preacher’s Kid, and a cast member of HBO’s Treme.    After ugly contract disputes between Beyonce’s dad who was managing the band, Letoya was replaced by Michelle Williams.    “No More” was an ITunes Free Single and a bonus track on her 2006 self-titled CD.   It’s a hot single with an empowering theme of standing up for yourself and not taking any more disrespect.
