Jennifer Nettles’ Solo Album plus “The Voice” Prediction

“THAT GIRL”   JENNIFER NETTLES

Jennifer-Nettles-That-GirlOne of the most anticipated solo albums in recent years, Sugarland’s lead singer, Jennifer Nettles plans to release her solo project early in 2014.   Recorded at the historic Shangri-La Studies in Malibu, California, Jennifer got master producer, Rick Rubin (Beastie Boys, Johnny Cash) on board.  The gorgeous lead single, That Girl, co-written with Butch Walker, pays homage to Dolly Parton’s classic, Jolene.  In Dolly’s version, Jolene sings that she can take your man, but Jennifer shows the other side of the story.   What if the woman was tricked by the guy and she doesn’t want to be the other woman?   The video was shot in NYC and Jennifer looks as amazing as ever with a voice to match.

“ELECTRIC FEEL”    PRESTON POHL
