Madison Square Garden is the home of the NBA’s New York Knicks, the NHL’s NY Rangers, and even the WNBA’s New York Liberty. Well move over, a fourth franchise is now a monthly resident of the historic arena. Long Island native, Billy Joel, has signed a historic one day a month concert series at the “World’s Most Famous Arena”. He first played MSG in 1978 and has now become the first artist to sign on as Residency Concert headliner. How long will Billy be doing these epic shows? He said, “As long as there is demand!”. Better pencil in some dates in 2015 and beyond because every show in 2014 sold out quickly.

“NEW YORK STATE OF MIND” a tribute to the Big Apple!
Billy Joel is the natural and obvious choice to be headlining here. He’s a New York boy through and through. After 9/11, the city put on a legendary concert to lift the spirits and remember those lost. Who stole the show that night? Billy Joel. When Shea Stadium closed, Billy was called upon to play a series of concerts called “The Last Play For Shea” for the New York fans. Hurricane Sandy’s concert, 12-12-12, for relief efforts was spearheaded by Billy Joel. Read more about the Madison Square Garden shows and look out for future tickets at http://www.billyjoelmsg.com/
