“BAD” RIHANNA and WALE
There are now 3 different versions of this song. “Bad” was originally released a few months ago with Wale and Tiara Thomas. They even performed the song live on Jimmy Kimmel. Then comes an even sexier remix with Rihanna on the hook that has reignited interest in the song. Well, Tiara wrote the song and now she’s been playing a solo version of her hit song. I’m partial to Rihanna’s sultry performance.
“WHEN I SEE THIS BAR” KENNY CHESNEY
Kenny’s latest CD is a collection of personal reflections mixed with a return to his laid-back Tropical beach themes. Yes, that pretty much describes EVERY Chesney CD but he continues to get better with each new release. “When I See This Bar” has been featured on his tour as opening act, Eric Church, joins Kenny for his latest single. Like the Cheers theme song, sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name. Best line of the song, “Pieces of our past slowly slip away, But time just stands still when I walk in this place.”
“SATURDAY NIGHT” NATALIA KILLS
Natalia Cappucini was a child actress on BBC television. After adopting her stage name, Natalia Kills in 2011, she’s released a couple of pop singles with “Wonderland” being the best track from her debut. She’s opened for the Black Eyed Peas, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, and she’s ready for break out. On her upcoming second CD on Interscope Records, Natalia gets deeply personal on her new single, “Saturday Night”. Over a slithering 80’s styled beat, Natalia shares a powerful story of domestic violence.
