red rocksDay 2 of my first trip to Las Vegas:    Car rental and a quick 20 minute drive to Red Rocks Canyon for a tour of the #1 rated concert venue for 8 years straight by Rolling Stone Magazine.   There is a 13 mile one-way road that lets you drive through the National Park and stop to hike the scenic paths.   Of course, I’ll have to make sure and take some pictures at the famous Amphitheater!

fremont-zip-lineRed sandstone mountains, unique rock formations, petrified sand dunes, Indian pictographs, as well as ancient roasting pits. Along the way we will see a variety of cacti, yucca, Joshua trees, and who know maybe some rattlesnakes, big horn sheep, or wild mustang horses! That’s the morning, then for the evening, we’ll be heading to Fremont Street for the 4th of July.   The off the Strip location offers cheaper prices, old Vegas charm, plus there’s a zipline over the crowd that is calling my name. 4th of July FREE CONCERT by THREE DAYS GRACE!!!!!    Come on, that’s so awesome!!
